Clinic Owner
Charlotte moved to Saskatchewan in 1988 after completing her Master of Science in Audiology at UBC. Over the past 35 years, she has practiced Audiology in public and private practice settings.
Charlotte completed her Clinical Doctorate, Au.D. in Audiology at Central Michigan University in 2011. She opened Hear2Understand Audiology Services in 2018.
Areas of special interest include early hearing detection and intervention, central auditory processing, tinnitus, sound tolerance and service delivery to rural,remote and northern communities. Additional certifications obtained include Tinnitus Retraining Therapy , Vestibular Evaluation and Management and cerumen management.
Charlotte is actively involved in clinical teaching for audiology programs in North America and currently serves as the Saskatchewan Advocacy Manager: Audiology, for Speech-language and Audiology Canada.

Tavia grew up in the small town of Rosetown, SK and completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at Minot State University. Tavia graduated with her Clinic Doctorate (AuD) from the University of Northern Colorado in 2022. Tavia has completed certification in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy. She loves working with all populations and is excited to provide patient-centered care to clients of all ages.

Hannah McLeod received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Utah State University, and has practiced in both the US and Canada. Hannah has a special interest in vestibular audiology, and spent two years at the American Institute of Balance in Florida as a clinician and clinical educator, before returning to Canada.

Speech-Language Pathology Services
Speech-Language Pathology Services
Areas of Support:
- Infancy: feeding and early language, cooing, babbling stimulation, and parent support
- 12-24 months: early words and concept development, feeding and auditory attending skills, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and parent support
- 2-5 years: preschool language and articulation, signs of apraxia, stuttering, AAC, early literacy, and parent support
- School Age: literacy, language and articulation, stuttering, AAC, and school support
- Adult and Older Adult: English language development, aphasia post-stroke or brain injury, stuttering, AAC, feeding/dysphagia, and reading
Orlene assesses individuals who experience delayed language, articulation, social communication, fluency, and feeding difficulties. She also has extensive experience with autism, developmental delay, syndromes, head injury, and hearing impairment.

- Bachelor of Science in Speech and Audiology and Masters in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta
- Licensed SLP Clinician in Saskatchewan and Certified in Canada

Cassandra has an extensive background in health services delivery in the UK, Germany, and Canada. She has completed coursework in applied behaviour analysis through Florida Instituted of Technology (FIT), as well as advanced training through the University of New Brunswick as a clinical supervisor in their autism intervention program.
She helped children from age 4 to adulthood with social skills development problems and challenging behaviour using the ABA approach. Through this evidence-based practice, she was able to identify the children’s behaviour and change their environment to guarantee their success.
Cassandra is the only Lego-trained therapist in Saskatchewan, having trained under the founder of Lego therapy, Dr. Daniel Legoff, a neuropsychologist in the United States. She runs workshops on all aspects of behaviour locally and in northern regions of the province for indigenous groups and organizations.
Cassandra provides family and individual therapy, teaches early childhood education, and runs workshops on understanding invisible disabilities in Saskatoon. She is a strong advocate for disability awareness and is also a past volunteer board member of:
- Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association
- SARBI (Saskatchewan Association Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured)
- Independent Living Canada
- North Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre
As the past executive director of the Canadian Centre of Disability Studies, she led a team on national and international disability-related research projects. For the past 11 years, she has been a judge at the Picture This International Disability Film Festival.
In 2018, she was recognised for her work in Saskatoon and beyond as a nominee of Health and Wellness and Woman of Distinction at YWCA.
